Hailey Bieber can now add businesswoman to her resumé. After many years spent in the make-up chair, the model has launched a new beauty brand called Rhode (her middle name). Accordingly, stylist Dani Michelle has been pushing Bieber’s style into corporate-cool territory, with sharp tailoring and blazer dresses from Aggi and Saint Laurent, plus minimalist chic work looks from Jil Sander and Sportmax. 

Hailey sidestepped her new modern workwear, however, for an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and instead channelled the “glazed skin” aesthetic at the heart of her beauty line in a nude sequined dress from 16Arlington. The clinging dress’s flowing flared sleeves and daring neckline – secured with a drawstring closure – amped up the sex appeal. 

The sparkling dress is from 16Arlington’s pre-fall 2022 collection. Founders Marco Capaldo and his partner in life and work, the late Kikka Cavaneti – who tragically died last year – made feathers and sequins their brand signature. Both featured heavily in the autumn/winter 2022 collection, which paid tribute to Kikka’s uplifting energy and spirit. “I really wanted this collection to make women feel empowered and beautiful and the best versions of themselves. Doing something hard or dark or constricting, that just wasn’t right. What everyone remembers after meeting Kikka is her laugh and how light and energising she was, and I had to make sure that came through,” Capaldo told Vogue’s Liam Hess after the show in February.
