ATLANTA — Oldcastle APG, the Atlanta-based supplier of outdoor living and building materials, has acquired Calstone, a manufacturer of pavers, concrete masonry, segmental retaining walls and packaged products, the companies announced.

The CRH-owned Oldcastle – whose brands include Belgard hardscapes, Echelon masonry, Sakrete, and MoistureShield composite decking, among others – said that the acquisition of Calstone “fits seamlessly into APG’s existing portfolio, elevating our product lines and manufacturing capabilities in California to a new level.”

“This is a strategically important addition to the Oldcastle APG family, as we strive to offer complete outdoor living solutions to our customers across the country,” said Tim Ortman, Oldcastle APG president. The acquisition also aligns with several recent purchases by Oldcastle APG, including EP Henry and Pebble Technology International, Ortman noted.

Calstone serves hardscapes markets that include San Francisco, Sacramento, San José and the Central Valley-area of California. Founded in 1947, the company operates out of three manufacturing facilities, in Tracy, Gilroy and San Martin, CA.
